We would like to thank all young and not so young children, who during December, consulted Santa Claus when He, his and Sleigh and Reindeers visited Bents and Sainsburys and toured round Fowley Common, Culcheth, Croft and Gorse Covert. We hope that your wishes all came true. Your support was greatly appreciated.
During 2017, we donated money to 23 local charities and 5 Rotary approved overseas causes with money raised at the Culcheth Halle Concert, the Culcheth Beer Festival, Local Carnivals and through these Christmas collections. It is the Public generosity in supporting such events which now enables us to offer FUNDING to :-
LOCAL CHARITIES, SELF HELP GROUPS,
SPORTS CLUBS, & COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS,
OF ALL TYPES & AGE GROUPS
If your organization is based in the Culcheth, Croft, Winwick, Birchwood, Glazebury or Lowton area, tell us about yourselves and your aims and ambitions, it is highly likely that we can help! The attached photograph shows a Winwick Athletic junior football team in kit provided by this Club. You also could benefit. Email or phone Bernard Groom bernardmcgroom@gmail.com or 01925 733893 with your details. Remember, we cant help if you dont make contact.

We would like to thank all who supported our September CULCHETH BEER FESTIVAL this year at the Culcheth Sports Club (Daten). 2688 pints of Beer supped, 560 pints of Cider swigged and 83 bottles of Wine and Prosecco popped, proved the extent of revellers enjoyment in helping us raise nearly £14,500.00 for local charities. We especially appreciate the generous financial support of our Sponsors, some of whom also assisted behind the bar. We hope that their investments will prove worthwhile. Our thanks also to the Musicians for their invaluable contribution to a most convivial atmosphere for the Festival.
Finally, we are proud to say that Rotary District 1285 of which includes this Club, has established the Manchester Arena Families Trust which is already giving financial support to the victims of the Manchester Arena bomb attack.
ROTARY is a force for good, offering you the opportunity to put something back into the society you helped to build whilst making new friends and enjoying an active social life. We are looking for new members to carry on this important work. So, why not ring Bernard Groom 01925 733893 and visit us one Tuesday evening to our new venue, The Culcheth Sports Club (Daten). You will be most welcome! Otherwise, visit the Rotary District 1285 website, or find us on Facebook and Twitter.
