Members of Sandbach Rotary have been busy with their paint brushes during the Spring. The Club has had a project for a number of years to keep the bench seating and street furniture in the town and in the parks in good order and they are working their way through the list.
Recently, the Club was approached for help by the newly-formed Friends of Sandbach Cemetery group to help them with the painting of the cemetery gates and railings. They were happy to help and were joined for this project by members of the Sandbach Crosses Club.
The chair of the Friends group expressed her thanks to the two Rotary clubs on facebook and said, I am so happy to be associated with all the people who gave up their time to help. The gates and railings will hopefully not require painting again for the next ten years.
