Hyde Rotary continued their support for our local community Projects and organisations when they visited Infinity Initiatives in Ashton Under Lyne. Kevin Maddox said
We have always supported Infinity Initatives and its founder Gemma Whittaker from day one we have reviewed their business model and we believe they are the best equipped to help the homeless, people with solvent ,alcohol misuse and singles and families who have just fallen upon hard times.
On Monday it gave President Alan and Rotarian Kevin Maddox great pleasure to hand over to Gemma and her team Groceries collected from schools and churches in Hyde and clothes,socks,,coats and sleeping bags that were collected at the support the homeless day on Hyde Market that will keep the homeless warm this winter and an added bonus a cheque for £100 that will help support the recently formed MANNS group ( that made a presentation to the Rotary Club recently) they meet every Monday at Infinity Initiatives in Ashton Under Lyne
Hyde Rotary Bring Some Christmas Cheer to Oakdale School
On this Children in Need Day Hyde Rotary Club President Alan Oldham Visited The Oakdale School in Dukinfield to present headmistress Linda Lester with a cheque for £250.00.The funds will be used to buy Christmas presents for the children who have special needs. The presents will be handed to the children when the Rotary Sleigh and Father Christmas visits the schools Christmas party on Friday 15th December.
