The Rotary Club of Leigh have been working hard to spruce up Santa’s Sleigh for when he comes to see the children around Leigh & Lowton.

Rotary President Brian Mills said, “Santa Claus has already sent a list of the streets he will be visiting, so all the children can check when he will be in their area. His route will be different to previous years, so he wants you to carefully check our Rotary website nearer to the time, so that you are not disappointed.

Santa’s street tours will start each day at 6 pm for the following general areas:

Wednesday 29 Nov Lowton / St Helens Rd (from By-Pass)
Thursday 30 Nov Pennington South

Monday 4 Dec Chapel Street / Manchester Rd
Tuesday 5 Dec Westleigh Area
Wednesday 6 Dec Pennington North
Thursday 7 Dec Leigh Town Centre (and streets nearby)

Monday 11 Dec Lowton (Newton Road Area)
Tuesday 12 Dec Firs Lane / Wigan Road (Lower part)
Wednesday 13 Dec Higher Folds
Thursday 14 Dec Wigan Road (Upper Part)
Friday 15 Dec Hayman Ave Area (Half Route)

Monday 18 Dec The Avenue / Holden Road Areas

In addition to touring the streets, Santa’s Sleigh will be on display at the following locations from 10 am, but Santa himself may not be there all the time, as he is very busy and may be visiting other towns:
