Over 300 people took part in the 40th Anniversary Glossop Jog on Sunday October 8th, with proceeds going to both a local beneficiary 'Heads Together' - a Glossop support group for those living with a stroke or head injury, and to the International Charity ' The
Winnie Mabasa Foundation' - a Charity run by a local lady (Lisa Ashton) and providing love and support to vulnerable and orphaned children in South
Africa particularly those affected and infected by HIV / AIDS.
Lisa said "Today over 300 people took to the streets in this years Glossop Jog organised by our friends at the Glossop Rotary Club. Young and old, families with pushchairs, wheelchair users, and even 4 legged friends all joined in and ran for Winnie. Meanwhile,
in Ennerdale our Ilamula girls joined in with their own Jog in their Sunday best. Thank you to everyone who made today possible and for your messages of support and love. #mabasolove across the miles"
