MUSIC lovers are in for a rare treat when the Chetham School of Music play a concert in Bolton later this year.
The event, organised by Turton Rotary Club, features the school's leading students, who will perform a mixture of classical and popular compositions.
Money raised at the event will go towards the cost of travel the students will incur when they attend a Commonwealth Conference in Kampala, Uganda, next month.
The group will play before heads of Government and also hold a number of workshops at local schools.
The musicians will be performing at Dunscar Conservative Club on Friday, October 6. Tickets at £12, including supper, are available from Mike Croft tel 01204 522664.
