Runcorn Rotary President Karen Tonge MBE presented the George Killip Trophy for the Annual Hole in One Competition held in conjunction with Runcorn Golf Club to Ed Rigby. The prize for a hole in one was a car from TWG, Northwich our sponsors on the 16 th hole. At the presentation Ed gave a graphic description of how he hit his ball and lost sight of it only to see Rotarians on the green jumping up and down. The ball had hit the pin but unfortunately for Ed rolled away. However, he still won the trophy and 6 bottles of wine for being closest to the pin; in second place was Darren Burchall with third place going to Harley Fitzpatrick.
