Class 4s classroom at Little Bollington C of E Primary School was unusually silent. The children had gone on a visit to the Petty Pool Campsite and Activity Centre set in acres of woodland in the heart of Cheshire.
The adventurers day out was sponsored by Lymm Rotary Club. It had such an indelible impact on the children that they recently presented to the clubs President, Sue Tupman, a scrap book of photographs and their comments about their experiences:
Even though I hurt myself I put the team first and continued to the end Harry.
It was a breath-taking experience James.
The Instructor told me to believe in myself and I did it! Liam.
Thank you very much for an absolutely amazing day. It was one of the best days of my life! Thank you, Lymm Rotary Club. Archie.
Class 4 thoroughly enjoyed their day at Petty Pool. They went on a zip wire, climbed a climbing wall and worked as a team to build a den.
