Supported by The Rotary Club of Macclesfield Castle, students Daisy Lee and Catie Heyes from The Fallibroome Academy completed successfully in this Rotary District disabled games event in Liverpool. Some of the Sports available to Catie and Daisy included a range from Archery, Wheelchair Basketball, New Age Curling and Boccia as well Darts, Pool, and Table Tennis. They along with their parents were welcomed to the Rotary Club Meeting on Nov 28 to be presented with certificates and gift tokens. They said it was a wonderful experience to play a variety of sport against so many others with the same type of challenges and had a wonderful time and gave very grateful thanks to the Rotary club for the opportunity to take part.
The next Rotary club event is the annual swimathon on Sunday 12th March at Macclesfield leisure centre to raise money for a variety of charities. Please see the web site to enter a team www.macclesfieldcastlerotary.org.uk
