Using the proceeds from last years Santa Sleigh collection, plus very generous donations from Millars Vanguard, Pinnacle Living and the staff at the The Pavillion Bistro in Birtle, Heywood Rotary packed 60 food hampers that will go to Heywood Food Bank and also purchased some toys so that children who may not get anything else will have a present to open on Christmas morning. Massive thanks to the residents of Birtle Brook Village for their help in packing.
More photos available here show some of the mayhem of that night plus Rotarians David Logan, Richard Slater, Edwin Partridge and President Paul Towriss along with Brent Miller, the MD at Millers Vanguard and Pinnacle Living.
