16 riders participated in the Rotary Club of Astley's annual charity bike ride, in aid of Prostate Cancer UK charity. The ride was 12.5 miles, across the gravel tracks of Chat Moss, from the Lancashire Mining Museum to Barton Aerodrome and back, with a welcome refreshments break, sat outdoors, at the Aerodrome cafe.
£400 has been raised for the charity, from a combination of donations from participating riders, Astley Rotarians and friends, with the Rotary Club topping up the sum to a round figure.
Thanks very much to everyone who participated and donated and we look forward to seeing you at next year's ride!
