Despite reducing seating capacity in the hall, Rotary-Congleton sold all the tickets for its 'Last Night at the Proms' held at New Life Church.
The audience was treated to a programme of modern and traditional music by the Rode Hall Silver Band before the audience joined in to raise the roof and sing the traditional Proms favourites.
Soprano, Sarah Francis, accompanied by her husband on keyboard and guitar, performed a programme of well-known songs from the cinema and theatre, before leading the audience with a rousing rendition of Rule Britannia.
Rtn Kevin Thompson was master of ceremonies, while event organiser, Doug Parker, introduced the evening and managed the raffle, raising much needed funds to support Rotary's work, locally.
