Rotary-Congleton provided traffic marshals for the Beartown Road Cruise.
The classic car club were the main event for the opening of the new £90m Congleton Link Road. They were the first vehicles to use the road and drove the full 5.5km length, before returning to the pub.
The event attracted around 120 entries and with all the entry fees going to charity will raise a substantial amount for the new Christie wing at Macclesfield Hospital. Congleton Rotary Club has previously supported the Christie with the provision of new chemotherapy chairs.
