A new Rotarian, Eddie Roberts, has given new meaning to 'Service Above Self.' Eddie, together with partner Dee, has worked every vaccination day at Congleton Town Hall since the programme started! The day starts just after 8am and can go on until 8pm! Eddie has only been a member of the club for just over a year. Nevertheless, he supervises the volunteers at the centre and usually checks the temperatures of everyone arriving for a jab. Dee monitors the queues inside the centre and directs people to the next available vaccination post.
President Stewart Price organises the rotas of volunteers, dividing them into teams of 12 on each shift and is also regularly at the Town Hall.
