Christmas Eve and Father Christmas has just ZOOMED into in Oldham this time at the Oldham Hospital on the Childrens ward where he met the youngsters who unfortunately must be in Hospital over Christmas. He talked to the youngsters and then delivered the presents provided by Care for Kids. He wishes to thank the Nurses Lisa, Sarah, and Louise for taking the time to organise the event.
Whilst in Oldham Father Christmas told us that he has so much fun meeting about 350 young people in Royton, Shaw and perhaps further afield over the last three weeks and wishes them and all their families all a Happy Christmas. BUT a big reminder to the children, that they must go to bed early and get to sleep otherwise he cannot bring their presents tonight.
Father Christmas would also like to ask people to thank the Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs of Crompton & Royton for organising the Santa Zoom meetings by supporting their Just Giving page to give funds to small local charities.
Since 1965 Santa has visited Royton & Shaw to bring Christmas cheer. BUT this year he will be on ZOOM on JustGiving
