Altrincham Rotary have been active again, this time providing shoes for a local childrens Primary school.
President Ken Garrity was in communication with Ian Eccles CEO of CAFT Childrens Adventure Farm Trust in Lymm. They were talking about collections of items and Ken was looking for shoes for Rotarys shoe aid drive.
It was pure coincidence that Ian had a surplus of childrens shoes which were ideal for the schools needs. So one telephone call later and hey presto a perfect match.
The school was delighted to receive the shoes which were for children from 3 years to 11 years of age. Dawn Mullen assistant at the school says the shoes were much needed and came at an opportune time before winter and thanked Rotary for their help
