Billy Bow, Bella, the twins Bobby and Belinda plus their new addition Buster the dog, invited loads of local families into Bramhall village centre to meet over 100 of their scarecrows chums on Saturday September 14th.

Coincidentally the final stage of the Tour Of Britain was visiting the Village on it’s way to the centre of Manchester after passing through all of it’s 10 boroughs.

They had organised singing, dancing, stiltwalkers and jugglers, a ukulele band, Poynton Jemmers (cloggers) and the Levante Samba Band, stalls and a lot more throughout the area as their 3 week 'Back in Time' Scarecrow Festival drew to a close.

It was a great day with DG Patrick Tyrrell and Mary Robinson MP judging the scarecrows. They are pictured here together taking a break on a very, very valuable 'Sociable' cycle. One of only six in the world!

Altogether they helped us to raise over £1,900 for Signpost Stockport for Carers Group and other charities.
