We are delighted to announce that this year's Rotary Bike Ride, held jointly by the Rotary Club of Astley and the Rotary Club of Leigh, has raised £800 for
the Prostate Cancer UK charity. It's a big thank you to all the riders who participated and to everyone who sponsored the riders for this worthwhile charity.
This now means that the two local Rotary Clubs have raised £2,800 for the charity over the four years that we have organised the annual charity bike rides.
Photo attached shows the riders lining up at the Lancashire Mining Museum for the start of the 10 miles ride to Irlam Station and back.
