Macclesfield Academy students were thrilled to receive Community Champions Awards from the Rotary Club of Macclesfield Castle.
Emma and Alfie were nominated for the work they have done with Cre8. Ryan was rewarded for his work in local community schools and a nursery, where he shone particularly in his work with children with special needs. Sanchez and Casey were rewarded for an incredible act of kindness for a member of the public.
Deputy Headteacher, Ms Halsall said: It is always humbling to witness such great work by our students in the community. It is evident that these students are really growing in terms of their own personal development and in doing so are making Macclesfield a better place in which to live and work.
Rotary President Carole Murphy said: Rotary is delighted to celebrate the wonderful contribution these young people have given to the local community.
