The Rotary Club of Douglas had a busy Christmas period as they toured Santa on his sleigh pulled by the inexhaustible Rudolph.
The season began with the switch on of the Douglas Christmas decorations on 22nd November and continued through to 22nd December.
During that time visits were made to 15 local Primary Schools where Santa handed out sweets and spoke to more than 2,000 children. In addition to this the sleigh and Santa were present on four occasions in the busy Douglas town centre shopping streets during which they received nearly £1,000 in donations from the public.
After all this frantic activity it is reported that Santa is now putting his feet up for a few weeks and Rudolph is enjoying some well earned peace and quiet in his stable.
