On Saturday December 1st, Rotarians, family & friends from the High Peak area met together in Bramhall for a morning packing Christmas Hampers. This excellent event was organised by Rotarians from the Bramhall & Woodford club who had been offered the items by a local businessman for distribution to those in need of Christmas cheer.
The baskets were packed full of items as diverse as sparking wine or non-alcoholic fizz, Terry's Chocolate Oranges and salted nuts and then were covered in Christmas paper.
In total, around 100 hampers were packed for delivery by Rotary across the area.
This was a superb example of Rotary in action, working as a team to provide Community Service and all thanks go to Steve Littlewood and the Bramhall Rotarians for sharing the project with others.
