Local MP Jonathan Reynolds helping himself to the barrel he sponsored.
The new Rotary Club of Tameside took over Tameside Beer Festival when Ashton Rotary Club folded. The festival has gone from strength to strength and now in its eighth year raised over £8000 shared between The British Lung Foundation, Tameside Admiral Nurses & Dementia Uk and other local charities. This year we had the largest choice of beers, the best entertainment and fantastic support both from serious beer connoisseurs and those just after a fun time. Yet again local businesses in Tameside supported this event by sponsoring a barrel or placing an advert in the programme.
