On Tuesday 22nd May, DG Eric and AG Eric were on hand to welcome participants on the RIBI Purple Road Trip (end polio now) event. During the morning they manned the checkpoint at the Visitor Viewpoint and were able to welcome Rotarians from Windermere, Kings Lynn and Yardley and Sheldon clubs to 1285. Overall 56 teams took part and District Rotarians were manning the point from Monday to Thursday of that week
The sun shone and the planes provided a great backdrop to the proceedings.
The pair hoped to meet up with participants again at the final checkpoint in Halifax on Thursday 24th May.
